The Flats at SouthSide Works is the residential component to The Soffer Organization’s development on the old Jones & Laughlin Steel (J&L) site on the south side of Pittsburgh. Located on East Carson Street between 26th and 27th, The Flats is a three story, mixed use, retail and residential property. The 135,000 square foot building boasts 45,000 square feet on the ground level for retail such as National City Bank, Kenneth Cole, and the Z Gallerie, while the combined 90,000 square foot second and third floors offer eighty-four deluxe apartments in the heart of Pittsburgh’s newest, most innovative development.
These apartments are available in over 27 different configurations, both lofts and flats, which include bamboo floors, granite counter tops, custom maple cabinets, translucent movable walls and many more up scaled features.
