The New Power Center (named for Duquesne’s first president, Spiritan Fr. William Patrick Power) is a five story structure with approximately 130,000 square feet of space. The facility includes retail spaces on the first two levels.  The upper levels  include fitness spaces, studios, two full size basketball/volleyball courts, support spaces, and a ballroom with a kitchen on the top level. The facility is connected to the existing campus by way of a new pedestrian bridge which spans Forbes Avenue at the fifth level and connects to the existing parking garage. Construction for this facility began in March 2006 and was complete in December 2007.

Jendoco Construction Corporation worked closely with the design team and owner to comply with LEED requirements and obtained a LEED NC Silver rating.
