SMS Engineering
This 75,000 square foot 5 story building was constructed on a fast track basis by Jendoco Construction Corporation in 1993/94.
The building was constructed on a very constrictive site in the North Side and represents the efforts of the Urban Redevelopment Authority, City of Pittsburgh, the Owner SMS, the Architect UDA Associates, and Jendoco Construction Corporation.
As an additional footnote, we are proud to state that Jendoco Construction Corporation was the winner of the Master Builder’s Association of Western Pennsylvania, Inc., 1995 Building Excellence Award for the Best Project over $5 Million for the SMS Headquarters
1995 AIA Honor Award.
