Carnegie Mellon Universities’ Tepper School of Business continued growth resulted in the need to add square footage to the existing GSIA building. Jendoco Construction was selected as Construction Manager for the GSIA West Entry Addition Project.

Plum Corporation Warehouse Renovations

The scope of work involved converting an existing warehouse building into a modern manufacturing facility that was ADA compliant. The warehouse was converted by adding two overhead cranes within the existing structure. The overhead crane work included foundations, structural steel, for a 7.5 ton and a 15 ton crane.

Le Mont Restaurant

In the mid 70’s, Jendoco Construction Corporation completed the additions and alterations to the Le Mont Restaurant. The work was completed for Mr. Jim Blandy who operated the restaurant for many years.

The work consisted on the addition of a two story banquet, party and dining facility overlooking the Golden Triangle.

Butler County Community College Theater

Butler County Community College Theater

Jendoco Construction served as the General Contractor for the construction of the Butler County Community College Succop Theater and Municipal Building.

The 475 seat Succop Theater is integral to the Butler County Community College Science and Technology Building.

Completed in August 2002, the theater is utilized as a community theater as well as for the student population.

The theater has state-of-the-art sound and stage equipment, and was acoustically tuned for optimal
performance.

Since its original construction, approximately 90 years ago, St. Joseph’s Church had a few external or internal changes. In early 2006, Fr. Michael Caridi and an anonymous member of the congregation took on the task of restoring the church but focusing mainly on the Chancel.

Jendoco Construction Corporation provided pre-construction and construction services for the multi faceted expansion of the rectory and provided 12 additional classrooms to the existing facility.

This work was performed while maintaining existing operations in the classroom wing.

The church expansion reconfigured the linear shape to a cruciform footprint thus maintaining a major portion of both existing ends of the church.

I.W.ABEL - Elderly Housing

I.W. Abel was the first in a series of three housing facilities constructed for the National Council of Senior Citizens/USA Housing Development Corporation under HUD requirements.

The nine story masonry bearing and precast plank structure housed 71 units and a manager’s apartment. The exterior skin consisted of grid faced block, a brick central core and punched windows.

The site required soil stabilization measures to be employed to support the structure.

Lynn Williams - Elderly Housing

Lynn Williams place was the second in a series of three elderly housing projects that Jendoco served as the general contractor.

This 5 story masonry bearing and precast plank structure was constructed under HUD requirements.

The facility houses 60 units and a manager’s apartment along with central recreational space and a roof top patio.

Also, unique to this project was the glass back elevator housed in the central courtyard.

Jendoco Construction Corporation was selected to serve as the Construction Manager due to its relationship of working with the URA, which was matching funds to replace existing windows and replace existing terra cotta cornice at the Fifth Floor, which had started to fall off of the building.
