Community Library - Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania
The Community Library project consisted of 11,000 square feet of new construction and was designed to reflect the strong community impact of the Allegheny Ludlum Steel Plant.
The exposed metals employed stainless steel where possible to intertwine the building with the primary employer in the region.
The stainless steel reflects a refined process of modern manufacturing and fabrication creating a sparkling gem within the community.
The stainless steel was woven throughout the building fabric including the terne coated roofing, polished soffit and facia, polished exposed roof decking, gutters, downspouts, toilet partitions, toilet accessories; book drop off and hardware.
