Jendoco Construction Corporation was selected to serve as the Construction Manager due to its relationship of working with the URA, which was matching funds to replace existing windows and replace existing terra cotta cornice at the Fifth Floor, which had started to fall off of the building.

Jendoco worked with the building occupants to schedule window replacements in their areas. They also discovered areas of the stair wells that were in need of immediate repairs and they worked with the Owner’s representative to schedule the repairs.

After completing the URA funded work, Jendoco was selected to replace the basement windows with glass block units, replace public space exterior doors with new aluminum entrance doors, and non-public exterior doors with metal doors and frames.

We also completed renovations on the First Floor for a new state-of-the-art training area. This birth training area is for the student nurses and current nurses, complete with an ambulance.

Additionally, Jendoco worked with the staff to install new acoustic ceilings on the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth floors.

Jendoco was awarded a competitive bid contract to renovate the existing bathroom areas on the First, Fourth and Fifth floor, which had been constructed in the mid 1900’s.
