Forbes Regional Hospital
In the mid 70’s, the residents of Monroeville had to travel to Greensburg or to the Oakland medical complex for medical care.
In July of 1975, Jendoco broke ground for a new hospital containing 318 beds. The 7 story structure was completed in 1978.
The hospital offers a complete array of surgical, medical, inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital currently offers care in cardiology, diabetes, diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, gynecology, hospice, neurology, obstetrics, oncology, orthopedics, outpatient surgery and pediatrics.
In 1983, Jendoco completed additions and alterations to this facility.
Jendoco was also the builder and developer, and also currently owns and leases, the 60,000s.f. Physician’s Office Building attached to the hospital.
On the same campus, Jendoco constructed the free standing Intercommunity Cancer Center.
The Center was constructed with the specialized concrete wall construction to meet current standards.
Jendoco is proud to have been the builder of three radiology treatment projects of the West Penn Hospital Forbes Regional Campus
