Pioneer Supply Warehouse Renovations

A former manufacturing and office complex laid empty for several years on the North Side of Pittsburgh.

The Pioneer Supply Company on Forbes Avenue in the SOHO district was in need of a new location with more space. The North Side location would meet the present and future needs of Pioneer Supply.

To provide what Pioneer needed required demolition of approximately 90% of the existing office, and a completely new layout. The warehouse quadrupled the work and storage space at the present location.

Creating paint storage and mixing locations required changes to the existing internal layout in order to bring them to code for ventilation and fire safety.

The entire warehouse was upgraded to energy efficient light fixtures with motion sensors turning the lights on and off as personnel entered specific areas.

The office complex was upgraded with high efficient air handlers and efficient lighting as well.

The lobby was remodeled to a large customer friendly area, providing Pioneer with a welcoming entry to their new location.
