Confluence at ROAM North Shore Center
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Confluence project represented a tenant fit out of 20,000 square feet within the confines of the 1930’s masonry steel and mill facility located on the North Side of Pittsburgh.
The work included all new HVAC systems, lighting, power distribution and computer wiring, refinishing of existing wood floors in the CEO’s office and installation of a kitchenette in the employee lunch room.
Work for the Confluence space was completed in nine weeks, and included all City approvals so that the tenant was able to move in two months ahead of schedule.
Also included in the renovations were employee locker rooms and showers, large open planned offices, conference rooms and training facilities.
The work included exposed ductwork, conduit and indirect lighting to enhance the exposed wood and steel structure system throughout the facility. Acoustical tile ceilings were installed in limited areas, so as not to detract from the natural warmth of the wood and brick.
The interior of the exterior brick walls were cleaned to provide a surface suitable for this high-tech office.
