Perry Traditional Academy

Jendoco was selected through a bidding process to complete the additions and alterations to this existing City of Pittsburgh High School.
 

The project involved construction of a new swimming pool, a gymnasium next to the pool, and locker rooms and showers for both. This project demonstrated Jendoco’s ability to schedule and phase working in an extremely tight jobsite.
 

The excavation process was slowed due to extreme amounts of rain which caused out of phase working conditions to be coordinated.
 

The school’s existing swimming pool became a new library. The existing gymnasium had a new floor installed approximately 14’ over the existing floor with new classrooms constructed on both floors.
 

The entire existing building was repainted and an elevator tower was constructed along with a new large garage building for storage and maintenance operations.
